The Organising Committee of the 4th European NFκB subunit Workshop
Véronique Baud is a Research Director at the INSERM (National Institute for Health and Medical Research), and head of the team "NF-kB, Differentiation and Cancer" at the University Paris Descartes, Paris, France. Her group works at the interface between signal transduction and cancer with a focus on the RelB NF-kB subunit, how it is regulated, and its contributions towards tumour development and resistance to conventional cancer therapies.
Véronique Imbert is a senior researcher at the Mediterranean Center for Molecular Medicine (C3M) in Nice, France. During her thesis she discovered a new mechanism of NF-kB activation dependent of IkBa tyrosine phosphorylation. She is currently working in the team of Dr JF Peyron “Leukemia: Molecular Addictions, Resistances & Leukemic Stem Cells ». Using a PTEN knock out mouse T lymphoma model, she is studying the supportive role of NF-kB in leukemogenesis.
Jean-François Peyron is a research director at INSERM, head of the team: “Leukemia: Molecular addictions, Resistances & Leukemic Stem Cells“ at the Mediterranean Center for Molecular Medicine (C3M-U1065) in Nice, France. His team is dedicated to understand the pathological mechanisms driving leukemogenesis in order to identify new molecular targets and active molecules for innovative therapeutical strategies: “Kill Leukemia“. Current arreas of research are: metabolism reprogramming, NF-kB and Leukemic Stem Cells.
Gilles Courtoisis is INSERM (National Institute for Health and Medical Research) Research Director working at CEA Grenoble, Grenoble, France. He studies regulators of the NF-kB activation process and how they impact on human health when mutated in inherited diseases.
